Wielkopolska National Park

Post-glacial lakes and pine forests south of Poznań in Greater Poland

Tunnel-valley lakes cut by a glacier split a mostly flat, pine-covered landscape, with Góreckie Lake and its two islands regarded as the most beautiful. Round hills, long narrow ridges resembling rail mounds and huge boulders such as Głaz Leśników mark the ice's passage.
