Shallow Baltic lagoons, peninsulas and islands on Germany's Mecklenburg-Vorpommern coast

Very shallow brackish lagoons (bodden) between the Darß peninsula, Hiddensee and western Rügen shelter a unique coastal fauna. Half the park is open Baltic Sea, and tens of thousands of cranes and geese rest here.
