Veluwezoom National Park

Heath, oak forest and glacial hills on the eastern edge of the Netherlands' Veluwe

Hills pushed up by glaciers in the Saalian glaciation give Veluwezoom a pronounced relief by Dutch standards, with its highest point at 109.9 metres. Forest and heath, kept open by grazing Highland cattle, cover the slopes.
