Tresticklan National Park

Old-growth forest around a trident-shaped lake on Sweden's border with Norway

Tresticklan protects one of the few remaining areas of old-growth forest in southern Scandinavia. Its centrepiece is Lake Stora Tresticklan, whose name means "trident", possibly after the lake's shape.
