Barren esker-split lake, pine ridges and aapa bogs in eastern Finland

Two esker capes, Pohjoisniemi and Kalmoniemi, almost divide the barren Tiilikkajärvi lake in half, with beaches all around its shore. Pine-covered ridges look out over the lake and the surrounding aapa bogs.
