Lakes, fens and old ironworks villages in Southwest Finland

Teijo protects a eutrophic fen, a type of mire that has almost disappeared in southern Finland, alongside young managed pine forests. Its historical industrial areas include the former iron works at Kirjakkala, with log houses from the 1800s.
