Skuleskogen National Park

Coastal forest, rocky peaks and deep crevasses on Sweden's High Coast

Slåttdalskrevan, a crevasse 40 m deep and only 8 m wide, cuts through rocky peaks that rise directly from the Baltic Sea. The land is still rising by 8 mm per year, and ancient Bronze Age cairns now sit 35 to 40 metres above the sea.
