Shatsk National Natural Park

More than thirty karst lakes and pine forests in northwest Volyn Oblast

Svitiaz, the deepest lake in Ukraine at 58 metres, anchors a group of more than thirty lakes joined by canals and natural channels. The park sits on the main European watershed, so surplus water flows towards both the Baltic and the Black seas.
