Heathland, forested moraine hills and the last Dutch black grouse in Overijssel

The park is a glacial moraine of heath, pine forest and hills up to 75 m, rare in the flat Netherlands. Its Saalian ridge holds the country's last population of black grouse, plus nightjars and several lizard species.
