Forested Carpathian foothills along the upper Dniester in Ukraine's Lviv region

Royal Beskids protects the left bank of the Dniester basin from the town of Stary Sambir to the village of Strilky, together with the Yablunka, Lynynka and Tysovychka river basins. Its forests, some stands over 100 years old, are its most valued feature.
