Rohkunborri National Park

Boreal forest, alpine tundra and a deep canyon on the Swedish border in Troms

The Sørdalen canyon and the large lake Geavdnjajávri lie at the heart of a park where boreal deciduous forest gives way to alpine tundra. Lime-rich bedrock supports wetlands, bogs and alpine vegetation, and the mountain Rohkunborri gives the park its name.
