Riisitunturi National Park
Fells, hanging bogs and frost-covered forest in Finnish Lapland near Posio
Riisitunturi is a fell rising above the treeline in a landscape of taiga forest, open mires and sloping hanging bogs. In winter, thick condensed frost coats the trees, and from the fell you can see across to the Kitkajärvi lakes.
