Polesie National Park

Peat bogs, lakes and swampy forest in Poland's Lublin Voivodeship

Polesie National Park is a flat land of lakes and peat bogs on the Łęczna-Włodawa Lakeland, where parts of the forest are tundra-like, which is unique in continental Europe. It lies on the border of boreal and Atlantic plant regions.
