Orhei National Park

Forested hills, river valleys and medieval sites in central Moldova

The park lies in Codri, the forested hilly part of central Moldova, with valleys crossed by the Răut River. Monasteries, noble estates and the ancient city of Old Orhei, set in a bend of the river, sit among limestone rock.
