High-altitude flower meadows and fir forests on Mount Oiti in Greece
Oiti is known for its high-altitude flower meadows, where 1149 plant species grow, including two endemics, Veronica oetaea and Allium lagarophylum. Forests of Greek fir, black pine and oak cover the slopes of the mountain.
