Lurë-Dejë Mountain National Park

Glacial lakes, beech and pine forest in the mountains of northeastern Albania

Twelve glacial lakes, formed during the ice age, lie at 1,200 to 1,500 m among beech, silver fir and pine forest. The Field of Mares, a flower meadow in the south, and traditional tower houses set the park apart.
