Losiny Ostrov National Park

Moose, forest and river sources inside Moscow's city limits and Moscow Oblast

Losiny Ostrov ("Elk Island") is the largest urban park in Europe, where moose live in forest that covers 83% of the park within and beyond Moscow. The Yauza and the Pekhorka both rise here, and the Moscow Ring Road splits the forest in two.
