Lake Kerkini National Park
Protected lake and mountains in northern Greece, near Lake Kerkini
Lake Kerkini (Λίμνη Κερκίνης) lies at the centre of a park that also takes in the Kerkini mountains (Beles) in the north and Mavrovoun Dyssoro (Kroussia) in the south-west. The park is protected under the Ramsar and Bonn conventions and the EC Habitats and Birds Directives.
