Karula National Park

Forested hills, 38 small lakes and farmland in southern Estonia

Karula covers almost a third of the Karula Uplands, a glacier-shaped landscape of hills, marshes, swamp-forests and small lakes. Narrow fields, meadows and farmsteads in a sparsely inhabited countryside give it an intimate feel.
