Junkerdal National Park

Arctic-alpine flora, small glaciers and deep valleys on Norway's border with Sweden

Junkerdal is known for its rare plants, among them the white mountain saxifrage, which is found in only three places in Norway and is most widely distributed here. Forested lowlands rise to rugged highlands with several small glaciers.
