Gallipoli Peninsula Historic Site

Battlefield trenches, cemeteries and memorials on Türkiye's Gallipoli Peninsula in Thrace

The peninsula stretches around 60 kilometres southwest into the Aegean Sea and holds 31 cemeteries and six commemorative monuments from the 1915 campaign. Trench lines at Russell's Top and Turkish Quinn's are still clearly visible.
