Fertő-Hanság National Park

Shallow salt lake, reedy shores and meadows in north-west Hungary

Lake Fertő is the westernmost of the great continental salt lakes of Eurasia, and its shallow water and prevailing wind change its size and shape very often. The park shares the lake with Austria's Neusiedler See-Seewinkel National Park.
