Exmoor National Park

Moorland, wooded sea cliffs and Dark Sky skies on England's Somerset and Devon coast

Exmoor combines open heather moorland with 55 km of Bristol Channel coast, where cliffs are cut by ravines and waterfalls and woodland runs down to the shore. Exmoor ponies roam freely on the moors, and in 2011 the park became Europe's first International Dark Sky Reserve.

2Tarr StepsA prehistoric clapper bridge over the River Barle with slabs weighing up to 5 tonnes.
