Forests, rivers and three geological regions in southern Wallonia, Belgium

The park spans three geological regions, the Fagne, the Calestienne and the Ardennes, which gives it a great variety of habitats. Together with the adjacent Semois Valley National Park, its forest forms one of the largest contiguous forested areas of Western Europe.
