Drawa National Park

Fast forest river, deep valleys and lakes in north-western Poland

The Drawa runs fast enough to resemble a mountain river, cutting deep valleys through the Drawsko Forest of beech and pine. Oaks up to 400 years old, peat-bogs and the meromictic lake Czarne lie within its borders.

2Lake CzarneA deep (29 m) meromictic lake of about 19 hectares inside the park, whose lower waters never mix.
