Doñana National Park

Marshes, mobile dunes and pine forest at the Guadalquivir delta in Andalusia

Doñana lies where the Guadalquivir flows into the Atlantic, with flat marshes, shallow streams and mobile dunes pushed by the south-west wind. Its salt marsh is a breeding ground and a transit point for thousands of European and African birds.
