Ceahlău National Park
Limestone towers, karst and forest in Romania's Eastern Carpathians
Ceahlău is a mountain massif of limestone towers, needles and sharp-peaked karst ridges, cut by gorges and caves. Forests, meadows and hay fields cover its slopes, and the Duruitoarea waterfall and the Polița cu Crini reserve lie within the park.
