Breheimen National Park
Glaciers, barren plateaus and farmed valleys in central southern Norway
Breheimen ("Home of The Glaciers") spans some of the wettest and driest terrain in Norway, from lush transhumance-farmed valleys to barren plateaus, soaring peaks and active glaciers. A glacier here gave up a coat from about 300 AD, the oldest surviving garment found in Norway.
