Bosland National Park
Pine forest, heath and fens in the north-west of Belgian Limburg
Bosland is a large forest of Scots pine, heathland and small fens (vennen) in north-west Limburg, planted from around 1850 on former heath. Sheep still graze parts of the heath in the traditional way, and wolves have returned.
